Duraflex Diving Boards
Duraflex International Corporation is the American manufacturer of Duraflex Diving Equipment.
It makes 3 types of diving boards: 14’ diving board, 16’ diving board and 16’ Maxiflex B (also called Model B) diving board. Among them, the Maxiflex “B” is the best diving board in the world, and is approved by FINA.
- Maxiflex Model B # 66-231-330
The 16' Maxiflex model B (also called Maxi-B) is the diving board that is used in all major diving competitive events in the world. The Maxi-B is lightweight, and gives a quicker action in the hurdle-step. Divers who practice on the Maxi-B are accustomed to this action, and do not want to adjust to a different timing when they compete away from their practice facility.
The 16' Maxi-B is basically a one piece ribbed extrusion of aluminum alloy 6070-T6, heat treated for a yield strength of 50,000 psi. It has a torsion-box extrusion, an anchor angle, and tip end cap riveted to the basic section. What distinguishes the Maxi-B from the other models is that the diving tip has 189 slots in the metal of the top "skin" which reduces the weight of the tip-end.

The 16' Duraflex is used for recreational diving in commercial pools such as City pools, YMCA pools and other pools that conform to U.S.A. Diving/FINA minimums (or better) regarding depths of water underneath and out ahead of the diving board. Also the pool must meet the U.S. Diving minimums for distance between board and side of pool, distance between 2 boards, and height clearance in indoor pools. Find U.S.A. The 14' Duraflex diving board is used for recreational diving in pools.
Durafirm Stands
In addition to the diving board, Duraflex also makes three types of Stands. They are: the Short Stand, 1Meter Stand, and 3Meter Stand. All these stand are designed to support the diving boards, especially the Maxiflexs “B” diving boards. The Short and Maxiflex “B” diving board are a perfect combination as one unit, with best design, best material, and most advanced technology. We strongly recommend to our customers that when you use a diving board manufactured by Duraflex, you also use their Stand.
